As you move to the pre-retirement kind of retirement readiness phase, one of the challenges is around identity. So much of us wrap up so much of our identity in our work life. The thought of like not working is jarring. If I’m not working, what am I going to do? What what would I be a productive member of society? Would I be fulfilled? Would I have purpose? Would I be executing in a way that is meaningful for me? And so part of what I’d like to ask people to consider is what would your life look like if you weren’t working? If you didn’t either have to work or if you worked quote unquote in ways that didn’t even feel like work to you. >> [music]
