If you don't know Hades she was rescued with her siblings Cyclops, and Chrissy after being dumped in a box on the side of the road.
Hades has Manx syndrome which caused an issue with the development of her rear right leg. This is a birth defect and not from trauma or a break. Although her leg gets in her way a bit, she's still a little spitfire.
Her brother Chrissy was adopted and Cyclops is pre-adopted (awaiting his enucleation surgery).
Hades will be going to a specialist for an assessment of her leg in the new year. She uses it still but it also gets in her way and has a tender calloused area. We want to know the long-term consequences of keeping the leg intact.
We will continue to keep everyone posted on this beautiful girl.
