昨日に続けて猫のオシキャットについての話です。まず名前の由来なんだけど、オシキャットの外見が 野生の豹オセロット（Ocelot）に似てるのです。
なのでオセロットからオシロット、そしてオシに加えて 猫のキャット、合わせてオシキャット！になりました。
ちなみに豹のオセロットは中南米に生息する小型のネコ科動物で 体長は60から100㎝、体重は8から16㎏あるのだけど、
猫オシキャットの体長が約30から40㎝、体重が約3から6㎏とはぜんぜん違いますよね。
オシキャットの体型は 細長くしなやかな体を持ち、模様が美しい。そして性格も最高なんだ！オシキャットは思った以上に社交的で、人になついてくれるのです。それに忠実でおしゃべり好きでじゃれるのが大好き、すごい猫です。
