You did not include the ragdoll who is undoubtedly a lovely affectionate intelligent cat. I have had several as well as abyssinian ,siamese,and manx ,persian as well as of course domestic shorthair.
My cat is a holy birma and usually tends to let me know that she is smarter than me 🙈 my male cat is a european house cat, a big ginger boy that likes training, reacts to commands/handsigns and does everything for treats xD more like a dog tho
Party tricks don't show a cat's true intelligence. You just have to look into their eyes to see a deep intelligence. I once give mu cat a cheap inferior cat food he sniffed it and looked at me. As though to say. I thought you were better than this. I'm not angry that you've give me this shit food. Just really disappointed. I felt so guilty I ran to the shop to get hiss normal food
When I was a kid we had a Siamese cat named Tylo that learned to open screen doors and used the toilet like a person. When he was done he even tried to flush the toilet and spun the t/p on the floor. I thought it was hilarious but my mom not so much! Never had a cat that smart since Tylo, he was very special!!!

I lost my cat 2 days ago and that cat was very affectionate one to my whole family & very inetrective too. We have trained her but she died unfortunately. I can't get a cat like her in my whole life. She was loved & will always be loved… I miss her badly😢

You missed Cheetoh's, though you indirectly covered them by including Bengal, Siamese and Abyssinian. We have two 3-year old brothers; a spotted sienna and a gray marble. They have very different personalities. The spotted sienna has a slim build and is very athletic, a tree climber supreme, an amazing escape artist and very much a people cat. The gray marble has a stockier build and loves to get under / into things, he's more laid back and likes to go find a quiet place in the house to sleep or watch birds. They both opens doors, and drawers, we have to 'baby-proof' the house to keep them from getting into things. Thankfully they can't get enough leverage to unlock / open the doors to outside, though if you don't pull a door till the handset catches, they will take a claw and carefully pull the door open. They come when called. They hide as soon as they see my wife with a wet washrag in her hand (after they've been rolling in the dirt outside). Their favorite toys are sticks; fetch and play tug-of-war with you. They know when they are in trouble by just to tone of our voices; they have this look on their faces like "uh-oh, busted" and they go hide a while. They will play hide and go seek with us. They love to watch TV, esp. the gray marble, and not just birds and squirrels on Youtube. They know when it's bedtime and (usually) walk to the bedroom by themselves. Unless of course they have unused energy and it's 'zoomies' time. Never had cats like this. They keep things lively at our house.

It looks like this channel expert doesn't know about cats iq. This channel has not included a sphynx cat, even in 10 and placed less smart cats to the list. .I gues the author is not expertise in this field. Most other channels rank this cat as number 1 and this is absolutely correct and right ranking.. This is the only cat who has a dog's nature. Siamses, bengal, cornish not even close to sphynx cats in smartness. These cats cute, smart but if you ever will get a sphynx cat, you will see the big difference. You can talk with sphynx cat as with a human and they like when you treat him as a family member. If you want a realy smart companion not a cute kitty, try sphynx cat and there is a high chance you can't come back to other bread.

I don't think I trust these lists, each top 10, not just your top 10's but all of them is different which means that it's just a matter of opinion. My sister has a Korat and he is crazy smart, it took her about an afternoon to teach him tricks so I know that one is right on but what about Maine Coon, British Shorthair and Russian Blue among others? It would be better to rank them with some reasoning instead of just listing a top 10.
Is ragdoll not smart?
We had two Siamese (we called them our Siamese Twins). They were, without a doubt, the smartest and most talkative, loyal cats I have ever owned (with a 4-year exception, I've had cats since 1984). They got in to a lot of interesting predicaments and I swear, they worked together. Oddly, I had a Heinz 57 back in the day who was easily the craziest cat ever. She was insane. I was gonna have shirts made up that said "I Survived <her>". She lived to be over 20.
