Bringing Cat to a Restaurant (猫をレストランに連れて行く)

We are taking our visiting friends from abroad to “Sonya’s Garden Bed and Breakfast” for an overnight stay. Along the way we make a stop at a restaurant (“Breakfast at Antonio’s”) for brunch. Of course, ex-rescue kitten Ficus is with us. It’s elating that more commercial establishments are recognizing that pets are family members too. So Ficus is with us while we dine in.

On January 3, 2021 we found Ficus hiding underneath a pickup truck. He was tiny, skinny, starving, full of fleas and earmites. We estimated that he was about 3 months old. We brought him to our home in the countryside and he grew up with our doggies Emma & Shirley. Later on we found out that he is a Japanese bobtail. That explains his very playful nature. He’s also highly intelligent and affectionate. He will turn 5 years old this September 2025.

海外から遊びに来た友人を「ソニアズ ガーデン ベッド アンド ブレックファースト」に連れて行き、一晩滞在させます。途中、レストラン（「アントニオの朝食」）に立ち寄ってブランチを食べます。もちろん、保護された元子猫のフィカスも一緒です。ペットも家族の一員であると認識する商業施設が増えていることは喜ばしいことです。そのため、フィカスは店内で食事をする間、私たちと一緒にいます。

2021 年 1 月 3 日、ピックアップ トラックの下に隠れているフィカスを見つけました。彼は小さく、痩せていて、飢えていて、ノミと耳ダニだらけでした。推定では生後 3 か月くらいでした。私たちは彼を田舎の自宅に連れて行き、犬のエマとシャーリーと一緒に育ちました。後に、彼が日本のボブテイルであることがわかりました。それが彼のとても遊び好きな性格を説明しています。彼は非常に賢く、愛情深いです。彼は2025年9月に5歳になります。
