“Pallas cat, also known as the Manul, is a species of wild cat found in Central Asia. Its scientific name is Otocolobus manul. Pallas cats have a unique appearance with thick and dense fur, as well as a very short tail. They have a round face with large eyes and thick fur around their neck, giving the impression that they have a shorter neck.

Pallas cats typically live in mountainous regions, grasslands, and steppes in Central Asia, including Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, China, and surrounding areas. They are shy animals and are primarily active at night. Their main food consists of birds, rodents, and small insects.

Pallas cats are considered a threatened species. Their population continues to decline due to habitat loss, illegal hunting, and hunting by farmers to protect their livestock. They are also traded in illegal wildlife trade.
