We're Wild for the Ocicat

We're Wild for the Ocicat

The Ocicat isn’t wild at all — he’s the result of crosses of Abyssinians, Siamese and American Shorthairs — but his spots lend him an exotic air that is difficult to resist. He’s generally self-confident, talkative and highly active. Learn more at http://www.vetstreet.com/cats/ocicat.

  1. ALL cats are "perpetual two-year-olds". Sometimes the really smart ones escalate to three-year-old status. This is not necessarily a good thing. 🙂

  2. don't you think a poor cat from the shelter is more in need of your strange breeding will?? a sad German host of two cats from a sheltee (one 17 and the other 3) 🤔

  3. the biggest fun of having a Ocicat is … you have a cat-like monkey climbing everywhere

  4. Hi All, I'm looking at getting an Ocicat kitten…I'm curious as to if they're "lap cats"? Also, can than be left alone (I'm single, have no other pets, and work 4 days/week). Thx!!
