Are Maine Coon’s neutered too early?
Keeping in mind that the average life span of other cats is around 13-17 years, and main coon’s only around 10-15, I still think this is worth investigating. I have Main Coon’s in the clinic as young as 3 years old, already suffering from chronic musculoskeletal pain. This goes for other breeds like Norwegian forrest cats and Ragdolls as well!
