We learned yesterday that Tomball’s mouth injuries were caused by being shot in the face. He’s lived his whole life as a feral cat, and has had to survive so much to still be alive today. While he’s still very fearful of humans, we have had a few beautiful moments where we were able to really connect with him.

We don’t know if he will ever love us back, but at the very least, we will be able to free him from years of pain. That is a huge win, and we are so grateful to our #TinyVillage for seeing how worthy he is.

  11. He just wants everyone to know he a big Tom and not a gooey roasted Marshmallow.
    It seems his emotional support fern gives him confidence to express himself. I know Toasty Marshmallow will be back.

  27. Certainly not a Berkeley hiss! Just maybe he will tear up his feral card and adopt a human family! I REALLY hope so. I pray his surgeries come fast and quick and are a big success! I want this sweet handsome guy to love humans and let us make up for what that monster did to him. He deserves a good home and loving family who will pet him and never give up.   29. You can see in his eyes a thought process: What is that thing (toothbrush) and is it safe? What is she going to do with it? God bless him. Someday there won't be so much fear there as his bad memories fade of how a human so cruelly treated him.
