Manx Syndrome Kitten’s Morning Butt Bath Routine

Manx Syndrome Kitten's Morning Butt Bath Routine

Lilo is a 7 month old special needs kitten weighing a mere 3.3 lbs (at time of filming) having been medically diagnosed with Manx syndrome and Mega colon. At a very young age we noticed her incontinence (her inability to use the bathroom by herself) so we developed this Manx Kitten Morning Routine.

  1. Thank you for this. I rescued a manx kitten recently. She was in rough shape. The vet told me she has Spina bifida. She's not able to potty or walk right but I'm doing my best

  2. We just adopted a manx siamese mix and lets just say sometimes her poop gets stuck. How many times a week should we shower her booty?

  3. Yes we rescued a male Manx kitten. We have to bathe him also. He does use the liter box but he sometimes leaves urine and feces. We have noticed his red bottom and never thought about using A&D ointment. I'm glad I watched your video. It's hard to find info or videos that deal with their handicap, instead it's the history or demeanor of the Manx. Even though he's a special needs cat, he is the best cat we have ever had. He acts more like a dog than a cat and has a great personality.

  4. I love this video with your kitten and giving your baby a bath and all but my cat cannot tolerate it and she a minx and I was wondering for rectum is healing but the vet gave me pills for her to help her not get infected and now they already been gone through and the shot too now she's back to what she was before having trouble going to the bathroom still and then crying afterwards I don't know what else to do maybe I can get some helpful information from you it's kind of getting pricey to go to the vet all the time I'm just trying to find a DIY way??

  5. Thank you for this. I adopted my Manx 3 years ago and he is 15 now, yes 15. He's just started needing this treatment and your technique will definitely help me make this a better experience for him. Again, thank you!
