or anything like me in my heart like in my reflexes if one of my cats is just being cute I want to give him food food is love you earn this because you’re cute no you want to stick with treats that are bioappropriate the treats that I work with more often than not would be freeze-dried meat treats and fish treats because they still have that Crunch and they’re nothing but meat

I started getting those for treats but now my cat likes to eat my dogs food because itโs freeze dried meatโฆ even though his food is much better than the dogs
I tried getting freeze dried meat and fish treats but my cat just won't go for them ๐ญ
But she's on a prescription vet diet for urinary issues so now I just give her a biscuit of her usual dry food as if it's a treat and she's food-motivated enough that it still excites her
I don't give treats for being cute. I do add treats next to their food dishes sometimes lol. Just to have something different. Sometimes I will hide some in the places I know they'll find them during play. I give extra playtime when they're being cute.
My cat loves Churu bits.
My cat has very specific tastes for treats that she learned before I adopted her at 2 years old.
The best non-fattening treat that she can never get enough of is her hairbrush.
Grooming is even more love to her than her Creamy and her Dentabytes.
My boys won't touch freeze-dried meat it HAS to be normal dried or fresh, or Dreames. I adore my baby boys.
When my cats are cute I give them freeze dry treats, so I kept buying freeze dry treats…a lot of it…๐
My cat would laugh and walk away I tried them I give them packets of goo that costs me 125 a stick.
You have to be careful and give them a better brand than the supermarket brands
@JacksonGalaxy what is the best kind of treat for a cat who no longer has teefers?! My once-a-stray boy had terrible dental health, so bad the vet thought he had feline leukemina (thank god they were wrong and he just had really bad teeth), so now he's had all his teeth removed, he can eat regular kibble, but most hard or crunchy treats are hard for him to chew, I just end up giving soft food as a treat pretty often, but any better suggestions would be great!

Here's the thing.. I gave my cat freeze dried treats and she tried to bury it like it was poop. Then she looked at me like ok I buried your poop for you now where's my treat?
My cat Beef (yes thatโs her name) is picky, okay? She only likes dry food, and she will only eat temptations dairy treats or greenies, nothing else.
If I try to switch it up, she covers it with a toy, or a sock and meows until she gets what she wants/slaps our legs and follows us around. ๐

I dry out packaged tuna in water. It's inexpensive and tasty.
So my cats donโt like treats, like I bought 15 different kinds and nothing. Not even prime cuts from the butcher, they only will eat kibble or canned wet food
Y cats are… Yeah. It's food… When it comes to the "artificial" treats. But they go wild for the freeze dried mest and fish stuff.
But… Don't I dare try give them raw meat (I live in the EU, there are very strict regulations on food, so fresh beef and chicken is suitable for pets even while raw. Pork of course is not because it can still carry worms until fully cooked).

The freeze-dried treats always have a lot of crumbs at the bottom, so to avoid wasting food, I sprinkled some on top of my cats' wet food on a whim. Now, they both expect me to always "season" their wet food.๐
They're also fiends for Tiki Stix. Splitting a tube between 2 lick mats every morning means I have a very effective alarm every day.
At this stage, Iโm not giving treats for any reason. My kitten, now eight months old, is such a maniac that she lunges at the tree before I can even give it to her lol. The Foster used churu a lot, and I know itโs very popular, but I found that this was the cause of her messed up. Poops. Every time I would give her some she would go back to having loose stools so I eliminated the churu and she goes back to normal. She doesnโt need treats. Sheโs well fed too well fed lol and gets lots of love and has lots of toys to play with.
I have 3 cats with different likes. One loves duck jerky for dogs while another prefers temptations on a chair so he can knock them off 1 at a time to eat. The third likes the tube treats.
Cats love treats but do not give them it as their everyday food cause then youโll have a confused cat on your hands lol my cousin did that and it was a disaster
Nutri-Bites. I have two bags of freeze dried salmon and one of chicken. I also love Tiki Cat sticks and I and Love and You Treat Meow sticks. Both are pureed meat/fish with broth and my Lulu loves them.
It's interesting. I really don't remember our cats getting many treats growing up. Good food for sure, and tons and tons of love, but treats weren't a big thing when I was a kid. It was mostly small pieces of plain chicken type stuff.

You canโt train cats, but they can train you. Also have never seen police cats.
For treats, I do like those freeze dried mwats- but I like to sprinkle em on top of their food dish to encourage them to eat real food

Hi Jackson what would your suggestion be on a cat that has the fear oral problems and has very little teeth. What kind of treats would you recommend for her I got her as a stray and she has severe oral issues. And it is so hard to find food and treats that she is capable of eating and will love.
Why is there no mouse ๐ flavoured cat foods

I give my kit cat dried sardines. They are pure sardines nothing is added. They are a great treat and they make a perfect toy he can pounce on and chase and eat.
