The primeval forests take on a whole new beauty in the snow, all blanketed in pure white and with sparkling treetops. You can explore beyond the normal path by walking atop the snow in snowshoes and discover things you may never have seen in the other seasons.
There’s also plenty of wildlife about and with a Picchio guide at your side, you have a good chance of spotting everything from deer to foxes. If you’re really lucky, you might even be able to see the adorable Siberian flying squirrels!
